Yara's childhood was a paradoxical mix of extravagance and adversity. Though her mother was able to provide her with a lavish, and financially comfortable life: she clothed her in the finest, most elegant garments, and never denied her anything that money could buy; Yara's upbringing was nothing short of lonesome. As an only child, she received a great deal of attention from her grandparents. Yet, she never knew the closeness of a nuclear family. To compensate for that, her mother spared no expense to make sure her daughter wouldn't need to rely on anyone but herself. She secured her daughter with all the tools she needed to become an autonomous member of society.عاشت يارا طفولة متناقضة بكل ما للكلمة من معنى، فلقد جمعت في طياتها الترف والمحن في آن معاً. كانت والدة يارا قادرة على أن توفر لها حياةمترفة ميسورة مالياً، حيث كست ابنتها أرقى الملابس وأكثرها أناقة، وحيث إن كل ثمن كان بخسا من أجل. ظلت سعادة يارا غير مكتملة، تتخللها الوحدة التي كانت تتملك وجودها وكيانها. فلقد ولدت يارا طفلة وحيدة لوالدتها وترعرعت في بيت تلاشى في أركانه مفهوم الأسرة التقليدية النواة التي لطالما افتقدتها.
