He yearns to be the best version of himself but is losing to his darkness that has taken total control over him. Dreaming to free himself from the bondage he has become a victim of, he looks for a life worth living where he conquers his demons and achieves the impossible of reaching his dreams and bringing peace to his father.  The journey he takes leads him on an unusual path where he discovers something in him that he was carrying all his time. Something that had all the answers for which he was searching, and the only thing that can set him free.

Chapter 1 What If?
I am on my way to buy a fishbowl and two goldfish. To be honest, I wanted a puppy, an English bulldog to be precise, but apparently, pet dogs are expensive where I live and English bulldogs are very, very expensive. I live in, hmmm, let’s call the place Wonderland, I have been living in Wonderland for the past ten years. God, how time flies, where did all the time go , I wonder. Time is a strange concept, we cannot get back the time lost and cannot access the infinite time available in the future, and to make matters even more complicated, we humans are mortal so we have a finite amount of time we live, but, we cannot know how much time we have ’cause death can happen at any instant, time flows, and you have created a past which can only be remembered, and you cannot tamper with the time gone. The only instance you have control is at the present moment, and what you decide to do in that moment means everything as it decides the path you lay for the time to come. The only evidence of the time that has passed for me is my increasing waistline, a moment has passed just when you read that and my waistline has managed to increase by a millimeter, that’s how aggressive my weight gain has been off late. I wish we lived on a planet where time could be manipulated.
What if, each one of us could go back in time to change something in our past, wouldn’t that be great? But then I think why we should be in a planet that allows time manipulation, what if we were an intelligent life form that could control time, an ability we processed as humans? What if we all had the ability to go back to our past, change an event that would change the trajectory of our life in the present and our future. Wait, what was I planning to do now, ah yes, the goldfish. I know I told you I was on my way to the pet store to buy the goldfish and the fishbowl, but I wasn’t really being honest. My mind was on its way, but my body is still stuck in bed. My body is saying, let’s rest a little longer and then we’ll go to the pet store, but my mind is already at the pet store deciding what kind of tank and fish to buy.
Wait a minute, did I just refer to myself as “we” as if my body and my mind were two separate individuals. Trust me, sometimes it does feel like it. Have you ever been in a situation where you gained weight and getting yourself to the gym seemed impossible? Wherein your mind says, you got to go to the gym, and then, your body says, “After this cupcake.” And this situation of dissonance between your body and mind goes on for days ’cause your body keeps finding an excuse every day. Then, several cupcakes later one fine day you’re looking at the mirror petrified at how you got this fat. Immediately your body says, “You got to go to the gym,” and then your mind says, “Dude, what the hell have I been telling you all these days.” Finally, you’re at the gym working out like an animal and after 14 minutes and 25 seconds into your workout a voice from your heart says, “Wow, I feel like I did enough for today, great job buddy,” and then your body’s like, “Really, we’re done,” and the mind’s like, “No, no, no keep going.” And then the voice from the heart says, “Let’s call it a day today and it’s a Tuesday, let’s start seriously and fully committed on Monday. It just doesn’t feel right starting in the middle of the week and we got plans to go out on Saturday night, drinking with the guys, definite weight gain expected so start fresh next week.” And even before you know it, you are sitting on the couch eating cupcakes and ordering a pizza to watch, how to lose weight and look like the God of Thunder.
I lay in bed trying to quiet my mind so I can get a few more minutes or maybe an hour of sleep and then definitely go to the pet shop. Wait, what’s the time? WHAT! It’s just 6:30 in the morning, two hrs. of sleep then. Ya, but no pet store opens at 8:30 in the morning, they all open at 10:00. Great then three hrs. of sleep. What about going to the gym, screw the gym today, today is Sunday, it’s rest day. SSHHHHHSSOOOSH GO TO SLEEP. After a few seconds, Tu Ta TU utu hm tu ta tu TUU TU, I wonder what I’ll name my fish. Goldie and Holdie, Goldie and Holdie, really? How about Goo and Boo. Wait a minute, maybe my future self will come and tell me the names. I guess apart from time control, we should also have the power to teleport. What if Gandhi decided moments before his death to go back into his past and change the course of his life. I wonder what would have happened to India’s independence. The world would have never been introduced to the concept of winning independence by non-violence, or what if he used his power to dodge the bullets that killed him. But wouldn’t have the killer too seen that in his future, this is so complicated. Thinking about it, what if Hitler used his time control power to win the war. Wonder what the world would be like then. I guess then every soldier would have known about their own death, thus giving them the insight to save themselves at that moment, and the war would have gone on, and on, and on, ’cause each side has the power to change the future. Maybe the Americans would have come up with a device or an antidote that would completely stop humans from their ability to time travel and stopped Hitler anyway. What if Hitler found that out and then made himself an anti-anti-dote that would make him immune to the anti-dote and then become the only person who can time travel. This is complicated, right? Maybe I’ll restrict these powers to just me. I’d say time control and teleportation would be great. The only human in the universe who can control time and teleport. I wonder if there’s life on the other universes and if there was life, what would they look like. Or what if the multiverse was a mirror of our universe existing at different points in time. Maybe the world war has just started in one and the dinosaurs are still walking on another. Maybe there are universes I am an old man in and others where I have died, and maybe I am just about to be incarnated on another universe.
What if they were all different and unique and had nothing common to each other then we would be the only ones in the multiverse, the only universe with life since none of the other universes would have any characteristic in common, then woul
