Freddie Finds His Shell is a delightfully funny story of friendship, adventure and acceptance.
It tells the tale of Freddie, a young tortoise who is different. He lives on tortoise top hill. He was born without a shell and wears jumpers knitted by his nan to keep him warm and cosy.
He always has a nagging feeling that he does not fit in but feels desperate to do so. Freddie refuses to accept his fate and sets off on a quest to find his very own shell. On his journey, he meets many new friends who are also different in their own way. Together they discover that being different is okay. In fact, it’s what makes the world such an amazing place to live.
