Chapter One
Derek was a cat who cared about one
thing. He wanted to join the police force
and be a detective. After all, said
Derek to himself, if dogs can do it, why
not cats?
Also, cats don’t drool, they don’t have
stupid barks and they never, ever knock
over cups of tea with their tails. In fact,
everyone knows that cats are tougher
and smarter than dogs. So
Derek decided to take
action. He put up a
big poster in the
roughest part of
town.
