Description

For many years, people in the mountains of North America have reported sightings of a strange being that appears to be very large, very hairy, and very smelly! It walks on two legs like a human, but looks more like an ape. People have nicknamed the creature Bigfoot. On the other side of the world, in the mountains of Asia, a similar creature, called the Yeti, is believed to be out there. Could this half man, half beast be real? If so, what is it? Using the scientific method and other information, this book aims to find out!

and Bigfoot yeti: t h e an unsolved mystery
All over the world, people tell stories of strange ape-like creatures or wild men. In parts of the North America, people tell of unexpected encounters with a giant hairy human-ape called Bigfoot, while in the snowy mountains of the Himalayas, unexplained giant footprints and sightings in the snow lead locals to believe in, sometimes worship, and fear the yeti.
One thing that is certain is that the mysterious wild ape-man is an important cultural and folklore ¬gure from Australia and China to Europe and North America. These creatures have been blamed for violent murders and animal thefts, as well as appearing as “bogeymen” ¬gures in cautionary tales. Some people believe that they even have supernatural powers.
