CONTRIBUTORS’ BIO NOTESHasan Simani, born on 15 August 1992 at Matibi hospital in Mwenezi South of Zimbabwe. He is a talented poet, Applied Psychology Lecturer at University of Zimbabwe and counsellor known for his ability to touch hearts with his evocative poems and his dedication to promoting mental health awareness. With a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with Great Zimbabwe University and B.Sc. Honours Psychology with University of Zimbabwe, Hasan combines his passion for writing and his expertise in psychology to create powerful pieces that resonate deeply with his readers. Hasan Simani is also a devoted Muslim in Zimbabwe. Moira Marangwanda-Chipanda is an avid reader, passionate writer and literary enthusiast who dabbles in scripts and poetry. Her poemsThe Heel andThe Eye Of The Mindfeatured in Our Stories were Redefined Poetry Anthology (2021). Her playNaked Failure was performed at Mitambo International Theatre Festival. Fabian Choto is a writer who was born on 26 October 1979 in Harare. His rural home is in Choto village, Chief Svosve in Wedza under Mashonaland East Province. Fabian popularly known as poet of the people is a published author who published his Shona anthologyWajairain 2017, followed by his English poetry anthologyWisdomandFoolishness. He then contributed his poems to the recently published poetry anthologies namelyChingomaChokwedu,EssentialVerses,DzinobvaMuropa and Zimbolicious Anthology Volume 8. In his early writings the poet presented his Shona poems at Muninga Dzepfungwa at Radio Zimbabwe with Aaron Chiundura Moyo and Musavengana Nyasha.Then by that time he presented his poems at Mabhuku neVanyori and AM Zimbabwe with Rebecca Chisamba. He has had his works in the country’s well known newspapers such asTheSundayMail,Herald,ManicaPost,Kwayedzaand magazines such asParade,Outpostand others.
Tafadzwa Chiwanza is an accountant and a poet by calling. He grew up in Harare. Chiwanzas works has appeared in local publications such asThe standard Mail, The Queensdale ReportandJikinya. He has published two poetry collectionsNo bird singing now?andThe rest is silence.Kudakwashe P. Simbi saw the light of the earth on the 12th of May 1996 in Rusape. Simbi is an alumni from the University of Zimbabwe who studied B.A Honours Degree in English. He is a published author and poet. He contributed in quite a number of anthologies such as Speak, The bleeding tree, Essential voices, Pariah in Paradise, Bullfrog Vibrations: The Drumbeat, Zimbolicious volume 7, Voices of Africa: A Call For Freedom Anthology, Prima Anthology; Prose and Poetry from Africa Volume 1 just to mention a few. Ayanda Valeria Sithole’s artisticjourney began in 2019 where she recited her first poetry titled Women With Towels under her director and videographer Vusimuzi Vector SA. Since then,her poetic majesty evolved and articulated stage performances and anthology series. Winner of Gambinga Poetry nd Competition [2020], securing 2 place. Authorship in an anthology titled Poetic Minds Combined [2020], a South African taste and she was the only Zimbabwean. The book was published by Charles Hoby the founder of Ava’s Publishers. World poetry anthology book titled Mercy And Poetic Healing [3 September 2021], published at Author Press, India. Voiced in Voices Season 1 [2021] an inaugural season of 100 poems,10 themes,10 poets in 100 days. First book titled Maverick Thoughts [2022] laced in deep and hidden emotions embodied in creative writing and uncommon. Honoured at the AfriCan Honoree Awards [31 July 2023]by the Founder Anthea Thyssen as one of the best poetry authors in Africa. Chenjerai Mhondera is a rabbi, the dissident reporter, a book reviewer, previewer, proofreader, editor and a Lord of Controversies. He comes from the spirit world, and lives in the World. He is the author of A Case of Love and Hate (Zimbabwe), Masasi aChinoz (Zimbabwe). His works also appear in over seventy publications; online journals and blogs, magazines and anthologies.
