In this thesis the structural and electronicproperties at these interfaces are investigated. In particular, the focus of thiswork is given to molecular systems which undergo self-assembly. The criticalparameter which drives the ordering behavior at the interface is the balancebetween the inter-molecular and molecule-metal interaction strength. To highlight different aspects of the self-assembled growth of molecules, four different molecular systems were investigated.
