Considering the access of women to the clergy as a good test of the way religious institutions deal with the issue of equality between men and women, the article studies the Protestant and Catholic approaches to this problem. It also takes into account the fact that these changes are occurring within a context characterized by a reorganization of the power of the clergy, and therefore also tries to analyze the mechanisms of the reorganization of the male clerical institution.
Considérant le principe de l'accès des femmes à la cléricature comme un révélateur de la manière dont les institutions religieuses gèrent la question de l'égalité entre hommes et femmes, nous nous intéresserons aux modes d'adaptation protestante et catholique en la matière. Il s'agira toutefois de tenir compte du fait que ce changement intervient dans un contexte marqué par la recomposition du pouvoir clérical. Nous nous interrogerons dès lors sur les éventuels mécanismes de recomposition d'un pouvoir clérical masculin.
