Rom. 5:19 - For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 4) There are only two places a man can be found in.. a. Found in ADAM i. Born in a garden yet failed. ii. Crafted by God’s own hand, yet disobeyed. iii. Had the privilege of walking with God, yet bowed to temptation. iv. Had a choice.. and chose wrongly.. and was found impotent to resist the devil. v. Became a slave to sin, therefore all who are son’s of Adam are slaves to sin. vi. Became subject to death, therefore, all who are son’s of Adam are slaves to death. b. Found in CHRIST i. Born NOT of ADAM but of woman and Holy Spirit. 1. A son of a slave is a slave.. 2. A slave cannot redeem a slave.. 3. Christ had to be a man, but could not be born a slave to the penalty incurred by Adam. 4. This is the reason for the virgin birth.. a. Christ had to be man, so He was born of a woman. b. Christ could not be slave to sin, so he father could NOT be ADAM.. ii. Had a choice and chose correctly, iii. Was Tempted and did not fail..
