Process-ori emntoeddels have been proven useful tools to examine and better understand the processes invdo lvien the C and N cycle in agricultural ecosystems and processes involved in the produc taionnd consumption of GHG. Within the scope of this PhD project, the process-oriented biogeochemailc Denitrification-Decomposition model in the Modular Biosphere Simulation Environment (Mobile-DNDC) was applied and further developed.
