Der Pariser Apotheker Matthieu-François Geoffroy, 1644 geboren, kannte den Kriegsminister Louvois persönlich. Beide waren gleichzeitig Schiiler der Jesuiten gewesen und das Tagebuch von Geoffroy erwähnt manche Beziehung zwischen beiden Familien. Die Witwe des Kanzlers Michel Le Tellier hatte in ihrer Gewohneit Geoffroy und seine Familie mit kostbaren Gaben zu beschenken. Geoffroy lieferte Arzneien an Louvois und erlangte Aemter worn Minister für seine Brüder. Als Schöffe hatte er mit dem Minister zu tun. Er plegte auch Beziehungen zu anderen Mitglieder der Familie Le Tellier.
Personalization of the relations between individuals and public authorities, or Geoffroy and Le Tellier family.
Matthieu-François Geoffroy, a french apothecary, wo lived during the XVIIth century in Paris, was acquainted with Louvois, the minister of War. Louvois and he were pupils of the Jesuits at the same time and Geoffroy' s day-book mentions many relations between the two families. The widow of the Chancellor Michel Le Tellier used to give rich présents to Geoffroy and his family. Geoffroy supplied Louvois with medicines and obtained from the minister offices for his brothers. As an alderman, he had to meet with the minister. He was also in relation with other members of Le Tellier family.
