Level 2 Tameside Council Offices Wellington Road Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 6DL I am writing to tell you about the Tameside Safeguarding Children Board (TSCB) Audit tool for single agency safeguarding children (level 1) training. The Audit Tool has been developed to enable single agencies to design their ‘in house’ safeguarding training (level 1) to a standard recommended by Tameside Safeguarding Children Board Training and Development Sub Committee. 1 This pack contains several documents: - Audit Tool: - This document identifies the minimum content that a safeguarding children (level 1) training package must contain; as endorsed by Tameside Safeguarding Children Board Training and Development Sub Committee. Single agencies should audit their existing safeguarding children (level 1) training package against the audit tool to identify any areas for improvement. Reference Material (for additional information): - Appendix 1 – Learning Outcomes – this document provides the context from which the minimum standards for training content were derived. It refers to the expected learning outcomes for effective safeguarding children training (level 1) as described by Working Together 2006 and Common Induction Standards.
