I. How to access the Mastery in Motion web site A. Go to the Roseburg School District web sit at http://www.roseburg.k12.or.us  B. Click on Administrative Services C. Click on Educational Services D. Click on Mastery in Motion (password required)  
 
II. How to enter work samples  A. Log into Mastery in Motion with your user name and password
B. From the teacher menu, select Work Sample Entr y and the period that you want. Then click on View Report .
C. Check Per Student , if you want to enter a work sample or a group of work samples for the same student. Then select a Group Level (benchmark). Then click Continue . Note that you want to use Benchmark IV for 9 th graders and Benchmark III for 7 th and 8 th graders.
D. Select the student from the pull down list and click Continue .
E. Select the subject from the pull down list and click Continue .
 
F. Select the strand from the pull down list and click Continue .
 G. Enter the work sample title, the date and the scores, and click Verify Score .
H. The program responds with the overall work sample score. Click OK .
I. If everything looks good, then click Save and Continue . Otherwise, make the appropriate changes. J. If you want to enter the same work sample for a class or group of students, then select Per Work Sample at the work sample entry screen. Select the Group Level (benchmark) and click Continue . Note that if you want to change the period, you need to go back to the Teacher Main Menu .
K. Select the subject as in step E above. L. Select the strand as in step F above. M. Enter the title of the work sample and the scores for each student. Click on Verify Scores when done. If everything looks OK, click on Save and Continue . Otherwise, make appropriate changes.
 
III. How to see a listing of your students work sample scores  A. There are two different reports for this. The first is called Best Work Samples by Subject . To see this report, select List Review Reports and select Best Work Samples by Subject . Choose the period that you want and select View Report .
B. Select the Group Level (benchmark) and click continue . C. Select the Subject and click continue . D. The report is displayed.
 E. To print the report, click on the Print this report line.
F. The second work sample report is called Work Sample Strand History . To see this report, select List Review Reports and select Work Sample Strand History from the pull down list. Select the period and click View Report .
G. Select the Group Level (benchmark) and click on continue . H. Select the Subject and click on continue . I. Select the Strand and click on continue . J. The report is displayed.
