Regis University SPS Teacher Education e*STAR Tutorial How to complete an online Rubric and Assessment 01/30/2006 Background: • e*STAR—this is an online tool that tracks a student’s performance of Wyoming and Colorado Standards. This program is used to report to the licensing and accrediting agencies. Introduction: • If you are an assessor (i.e., an Affiliate, Course Consultant, Supervising Teacher, Cooperating Teacher or Student—only in courses requiring a self-assessment), you will receive an email that will link you directly to the assessments you are responsible for completing that semester/term. • In the case of Student Teaching, the Supervising Teacher must complete the assessment in full, after consulting with the Cooperating Teacher and Student (the Cooperating Teacher and the Student will be responsible to complete their own assessments, but the Supervising Teacher’s assessment is what we report to the state for licensure recommendation).
