Colorado Reading First—Online Courses Frequently Asked Questions COURSE INFORMATION 1. Where can I go to get information about the online courses before I register or enroll? Go to the online course section of the Colorado Reading First website at: http://www.cde.state.co.us/cdecomp/CRF/OnlineCourses/index.html to learn more about the online courses. 2. What online courses are available? The following courses are available online through CBOCES for CDE Contact Hours. • The Reading First Classroom • Phonemic Awareness • Phonics • Fluency • Vocabulary • Comprehension • Assessment & Data-driven Instruction 3. Is there a print version of the online courses available? A print version of all courses is in development. You will find print versions for Comprehension, Vocabulary, and Assessment. The other course print versions are in development for release by Summer 2007. You will be able to access the print version when you are logged into the online courses. The print version will be in the left-hand navigation area. You will then be able to print the course and archive it in a notebook. However, it is important to note that there are portions of the online courses that do not transfer to print. There are several animations that have an audio portion to them in the online courses.
