Energy Audit and Savings Assessment : Leidel Energy Systems will carry out an energy audit and study of the Customer’s residential property (identified on page 3) in order to assess energy consumption and operational characteristics of the property for the purpose of recommending energy conservation measures, improved operating procedures, alternative energy systems, and/or other energy related services in order to reducing the Customer’s energy consumption, expense, and overall environmental impact. B. Objectives : The Customer agrees to provide cooperation throughout the process of the audit and study. Leidel Energy Systems will provide the Customer a written report within 60 cays of the date of this audit agreement. The report will meet the following objectives: (1) an analysis of the property’s energy consumption and comparison with comparable properties in the area, (2) an audit of the property which will include a evaluation of the lighting, appliances, HVAC equipment, building envelope, and operating procedures, (3) estimation of approximate energy cost savings based on the review of the data obtained in the consumption analysis (1) and the energy audit (2), (4) approximate installation costs for proposed energy conservation measures and alternative energy ...

Leidel Energy Systems will provide the Customer a written report within 60 cays of the date of this audit agreement. C. Records and Data : The Customer will provide the most recent 12 months of utility billings for the property. If actual bills are not available, the Customer will assist Leidel Energy Systems in obtaining this information from the utility suppliers. D. Payment Terms : The Customer agrees to pay Leidel Energy Systems a deposit of $100 at the signing of this agreement. An additional sum of $_____________ is due within 30 days from the delivery to the Customer of the report described in section B above. Therefore, the total cost for the energy audit, study, and report will be $____________. However, the Customer will have no obligation to pay this amount if Leidel Energy Systems and the Customer enter into an Energy Services Agreement within 30 days from the delivery of the report described in section B. The ESA will install two or more of the recommended energy efficiency measures or other systems. E. itnoparaPre of an Energy Services Agreement (ESA) : : If requested by the Customer, and within 30 days from the delivery to the Customer of the report described in section B, Leidel Energy Systems will prepare and submit to the Customer an ESA. The ESA will describe in detail the previously identified energy conservation measures and alternative energy systems which will reduce the Customer’s energy consumption and cost. The ESA will include more detailed estimations of energy cost savings and actual quotations for the installation of the proposed energy conservation measures and alternative energy systems. The customer will be asked to choose among the proposed ESA energy conservation measures and other systems. The objective of the ESA will be to provide monthly utility cost savings which will completely fund the installation of the selected services.

F. ndIniemyt (or protection from legal action) : Leidel Energy Systems and the Customer will be responsible only for such injury, loss, or damage caused by the intentional misconduct or the negligent act or omission of Leidel Energy Systems or its agents. Leidel Energy Systems and the Customer agree to indemnify and to hold each other, including their officers, agents, consultants, directors, and employees, harmless from all claims, demands, or suits of any kind, including all legal costs and attorney’s fees, resulting from the intentional misconduct of their employees or any negligent act or omission by their employees or agents. G. stCuremo Acceptance: The customer agrees to the scope of the audit and study, assisting to provide utility data, and to the payment terms, as described above.
