1 Microsoft Publisher or Microsoft Word Tutorial to Make a Digital Quilt Scrapbook Page Prepared by TKHarrison, QuiltScrapbook.com 1) Open MSPublisher (aka MSPub) and start with a blank sheet of paper. 2) A word of caution -- if you are not using high DPI (dots per inch) elements, your printed Quilt Scrapbook page will probably look “grainy.” Be sure you have at *least* 200 dpi images, if not 300 dpi. 3) You should already have the digital elements that you want to use in your Quilt Scrapbook page downloaded onto your computer or a disk and. If the file is a .zip folder, you need to UNZIP it. If you don’t, please take the time now to do so. 4) You should also have your photograph(s) of the quilt(s) you want to use in your Quilt Scrapbook page taken and saved to your computer or a disk. If you don’t, please do so now. 5) Begin your Quilt Scrapbook page by opening the background paper image you want to use. You will find this INSERT in your file menu or as an icon on the screen (the placement of this icon may be in a different place on your screen): 6) When you go to INSERT, a box will pop up to show you the files on your computer.
