Press Release Rome, Italy, - December 5, 2002 – ERIS4 s.r.l.’s WARP4™ product processes 185 million transactions per hour in sustained operations trials on dual-CPU entry-level Sun server. ERIS4 s.r.l., a worldwide provider of super powerful cross-industry rating solutions, announced today the conclusion of a series of benchmarking trials aimed at measuring throughput, latency and reliability of WARP4™ on a dual-CPU entry-level class of Sun servers. The trials were performed on entry-level Sun servers with two processors at a Sun Microsystems, Inc. benchmarking lab in Italy against a number of pre- and post-paid content-based management scenarios. During the trials, ERIS4 s.r.l. recorded sustained transaction volumes of 185 million transactions per hour. The trials included the management of Authorization, Rating and Advice of Charge requests on a comprehensive subscriber database containing 10 million active subscribers. The trials incorporated very complex rating scenarios taking into account customer status and enabled complex discounting.
