It has enabled accuracy in drawing barely imaginablethirty years ago. AutoCADD has taken a lot of the guesswork out of locating routes for roads, locations forunderwater foundations, and even space research. It is so accurate that it can give commands to anelectronically controlled saw to cut wood to the thousandth of an inch.
