HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR AUDIT CHECKLIST REMOTE CONSOLIDATION SITES This document has been prepared to assist operators of facilities that generate hazardous waste in performing self-audits for compliance with requirements governing the management of such wastes. It is not all-inclusive. The requirements listed have been briefly described. The complete text of these laws and regulations can be viewed on the Internet. Health and Safety Code (H&SC) is available on the Internet at www.leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html. Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR) is available on the Internet at www.calregs.com. Note: This Audit Checklist is intended for use at hazardous waste remote consolidation sites. It serves as a supplement to the Small Quantity Generator (SQG) Audit Checklist or Large Quantity Generator (LQG) Audit Checklist, as appropriate. A remote consolidation site is a site to which Non-RCRA hazardous waste initially collected at a remote site is transported. A remote site is defined by H&SC §25121.3 to be a site operated by the generator where hazardous waste is initially collected, at which the generator’s staff, other than security staff, is not routinely located.
