CTYIO DFAN,M REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS I. INTRODUCTION A. General Information The City of Dayton is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the three (3) fiscal years ending December 31, 2009, 2010, and 2011, with the option of auditing its financial statements for each of the two subsequent fiscal years. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, and the standards for financial audits set forth in the U. S. General Accounting Office’s (GAO) Governmental Auditing Standards and State Legal Compliance audit requirements. There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City of Dayton to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. To be considered, an original and four copies of a proposal must be received by Julie Linnihan, Finance Director, at City Hall, 12260 S. Diamond Lake Road, Dayton, Minnesota, 55327, by 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 15th, 2009. The City of Dayton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted. During the evaluation process, the City of Dayton reserves the right, where it may serve the City’s best interest, to request additional information or clarifications from proposers, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions.
