The letter summarises the main results and conclusions from our audit work over the last year. As you will know, our audit work is performed in accordance with the Audit Commission’s Code of Audit Practice for Local Authorities and the National Health Service in England and Wales (“the Code of Practice”). Section 1 of this letter shows how we have covered the requirements of the Code of Practice and the key issues arising from our work that we consider the Trust Board needs to address as priorities over the coming months.
