They have been prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and necessarily include amounts based on judgements and estimates by management. The Institution maintains internal accounting control systems and related policies and procedures designed to provide reasonable assurance that assets are safeguarded, that transactions are executed in accordance with management's authorisation and properly recorded, and that accounting records may be relied upon for the preparation of financial statements and other financial information.
