Iser ponen de manifiesto la profunda relación existente entre lo visible y lo inteligible a l a hora de llevar a cabo la actividad hermenéutica. Sin embargo, los estudiosos, que enseguida advirtieron la huella de la fenomenología husserliana en el teórico de Constanza, ap enas han prestado atención al sustrato gestaltista que también está presente en su obra. Desarrollar estos postulados que animan la herm enéutica de Iser e ilustrarlos en algunos textos literarios es el objetivo de este trabajo. Palabras clave: Hermenéutica literaria, W. Iser, Gestalt, fenomenología, cognición. Visual procedures in the hermeneutic theory of Wolfgang Iser Abstract: The theoretical assumptions of W. Iser clearly demonstrate the profound relationship between what is visible and what is intell igible when Hermeneutics comes into action. However, scholars «who quickly noticed the trace of husserlian phenomenology in the work of the theoretician from Constanza» ha ve hardly paid attention to the gestaltist substratum that can also be observed in his work. The objective of this contribution will be t o develop these principles present in Iser’s Hermeneutics and to exemplify them in some literary texts.
