The Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) policy is to support and encourage public
involvement and to adhere to the principles of Environmental Justice in the planning process relating to
transportation systems and facilities. The Transportation Improvement Program amendment process is
designed to ensure consistency with established plans, regulations, and ongoing projects. The MPO appreciates
all comments/suggestions, and encourages every member of the public to become active participants in the
decision making process. All comments received will be considered for inclusion in the development of the final
document.
