SOITA’s professional development activities provide educators ample opportunity to learn through practical, handson sessions. Each class is taught by a former teacher and is tailored to meet the needs of educators. To register for a SOITA class, please use the registration form located in this brochure, or go to our website at http:// www.soita.org and register online with a MasterCard, VISA, school purchase order, check or SOITA voucher. Please call Pam at (937) 7466333 in the greater Dayton and Cincinnati area or (800) 9648211 with registration estions or to request additional copies of this brochure.

Inside you will ﬁnd a wide variety of learning opportunities, including one-day workshops, workshops that include equipment, online classes, and video conferences for teachers and students.

SOITA may add additional classes and locations, so please check the website at www.SOITA.org for the most up-to-date list of classes and events.

OneDay Workshops

For full descriptions of the topics to be covered in our oneday workshops, please check our website at http:// www.soita.org Participants will receive a Certiﬁcate of Attendance at the end of every class listed in this schedule, which can be used towards University of Dayton graduate credit. For every 15 hours you attend of regular SOITA workshops, video conferences, and Tech Seminars, you are eligible to purchase one semester hour of graduate credit! When your certiﬁcates total 15 hours, you will need to send in copies of your Certiﬁcates of Attendance to SOITA along with a completed University of Dayton registration form (on our website) and a payment of $300 payable to SOITA.

The cost for our oneday classes are: SOITA Comprehensive Members  $125.00 per person, NonSOITA Members  $250.00. Participants will receive Certiﬁcates of Attendance for ﬁve hours. Participants will be given one hour for lunch on their own. All classes are held in our computer labs located in Franklin just west of I75 at exit 36. Purchasing a workbook is optional.
