The x-class got the go-ahead in 1999 with the market launch for the xe-2100 analyser. Three years later, the xt-2000i and xt-1800i analysers followed, and 4 years later, the xe-2100d, the first 6-part DIFF analyser. In 2006, this product range has been completed with its smallest representatives, the xs-1000i and xs-800i analysers (Fig.1).
