Winter 2008 Edition 1 The Renaissance Society “To Remember, To Understand, To Learn” The Renaissance Society is a club that focuses on history and the past, topics that relate to both local history, Canadian history, and also those that are curriculum based. This past November, the Renaissance Society hosted its third annual student conference put on by the members of the club. Also this year, the members of the club and Mr. Stafford will be organizing a second conference in April in relation to the Catholic Church - its heritage and social involvement, both local and nation wide.
