AP FRENCH – SYLLABUS 2010-2011 Introduction Through writing and speaking on a wide range of topics, students expand their vocabulary, develop their writing style in French, and improve their critical thinking skills and their cultural awareness—all in the target language. Using the communication as the principal skill to achieve, students get immerse in a variety of authentic material. Students are encouraged to participate in Francophone Club activities at school and outside school. The students interact with the instructor and peers exclusively in French Course objectives • The teacher uses French exclusively in class and encourages students to do likewise .
