1 The 2012 DGS Conference: Diversity and Cohesion: Challenges of Increasing Social Complexity The Bochum/Dortmund Organising Committee, October 2011 The 36th Conference of the German Sociological Association (DGS), to be held at the Ruhr- University Bochum and the Dortmund University of Technology from October 1 to 5, 2012, will explore the theme of “Diversity and Cohesion”.
