An Effective Standards-Based K-12 Science and Technology/Engineering Classroom The MADOE's Science and Technology/Engineering team and the Science Liaison Network have developed a shared vision of standards-based science and technology/engineering (STE) learning and teaching. Based on this vision, we have articulated characteristics of an effective standards-based science and technology/engineering classroom, applicable to grades K-12.
