SITUACION DE LOS FARMACEUTICOS TITULARES EN EL AMBITO DEL ESTADO ESPAÑOL. ANALISIS DE SUS FUNCIONES Y COMPETENCIAS EN MATERIA DE HIGIENE DE LOS ALIMENTOS EN LA COMUNIDAD VALENCIANA(Community Health Pharmacists?s Situation in the Scope of the Spanish State. An Analysis of their Duties on Food Higiene in Community of Valencia)

Resumen
Fundamento: Nos proponemos mostrar la situación de los Farmacéuticos titulares en las distintas Comunidades Autónomas del Estado, con independencia de sus transferencias sanitarias, Para la Comunidad Valenciana planteamos la integración de los Farmacéuticos titulares en las estructuras sanitarias de las Areas de Salud, para un mejor desempeño de las funciones, especialmente, de Higiene de los Alimentos.
Métodos Se ha utilizado la información facilitada por los Servicios de Salud de cada Autonomía. Los datos de la Comunidad Valenciana proceden de la Dirección General de Salud Pública y el Servicio Valenciano de Salud de
la Generalidad Valenciana. habiéndose aplicado los criterios ofíciales de periodicidad de inspección para el estudio de necesidades. Los datos han sido tratados informaticamente.
Resultados: Se han identilicado dos tipos de Autonomías, según hayan procedido o no a la reestructuración y/o reasignación de funciones de los Farmacéuticos titulares. Se muestra la distribución de los Farmacéuticos titulares de la Comunidad Valenciana en su mapa sanitario v las necesidades de vigilancia para las industrias y establecimientós alimentarios de competencia farmacéutica.
Conclusiones: Se evidencia la necesidad de adaptar la figura del Farmacéutico titular a la Ley General de Sanidad, específicamente a las estructuras sanitarias de las Areas. Así como la conveniencia de no compaginar la propiedad de la Oficina de Farmacia con el resto de las funciones atribuidas a este Cuerpo.
Abstract
Background: We intend to show the Community Health pharmacists?s situation in the different Autonomous Communities of the State, independently from their health.
With regard to the Community of Valencia, we propose to integrate the Community Health pharmacists in the health structures of Health Areas, so that they can better fulfil their duties: specially Food Higiene.
Methods: The information provided by the Health Services of each Autonomous Community has been used.
Data from the Community of Valencia come from the Public Health General Direction and from Valencia Health Service of Generalidad Valenciana. Offícial criteria of periodical inspection in order to study needs have been put into practice. Data process has been computerized.
Results: Two kinds of Autonomous Communities have been identified depending on wether they have carried out or not the reorganization and/or the reassignment of duties of Community Health pharmacists.
The distribution of Community Health pharmacists in the Autonomous Community of Valencia is shown in its health map, as well as the needs of surveillance for industries and food stablishments within a pharmaceutic scope.
Conclusions: The necessity of adaptind the figure of the Community Health pharmacist to the Health General Law appears evident, particulary to heahh structures in the Areas
as well as the conveniente of not making the chemist?s shop possession compatible with the test of duties assigned to this pharmacist´s Body
