RENDIMIENTOS Y COMPOSICIÓN DE CANALES DE CABRITOS CRIOLLOS E HÍBRIDOS CASHMERE (CREOLE AND HYBRID CASHMERE KIDS CARCASS YIELD)

Resumen
Se compararon canales de cabritos Criollos e híbridos Cashmere de seis meses y 31 kg. Se determinó peso vivo vacío, rendimiento comercial, verdadero y de despojos rojos. Se realizó análisis de varianza en un diseño completamente al azar. El rendimiento comercial fue de 46,5 y 41,9 p.100, y el de la piel fue de 7,3 y 9,3 p.100, valores diferentes (p<0,01) para Criollos e híbridos respectivamente. El peso de la piel e hígado fue de 1,9 vs 2,3 y 0,5 vs 0,4 kg respectivamente en Criollos e híbridos (p<0,05). El rendimiento comercial fue influenciado por el contenido digestivo. Estos valores demuestran que no existen diferencias importantes en las características de canales de los cabritos Criollos e híbridos Cashmere.
Abstract
Hybrid Cashmere, and Creole kids carcasses of six months and 31 kg were compared. The empty body weight, dressing percentage, true yield and red stripping yield were calculate. Analyses of variance was done in a completed randomized design. The commercial yield were 46.5 y 41.9 percent and the skin yield was 7.3 and 9.3 percent, both yield variable were different (p<0.01), for Creole and hybrid kids respectively. Skin and liver weight were 1,9 vs 2,3 kg and 0,5 vs 0,4 kg respectively for Creole and hybrid (p<0.05). The dressing percentage was explained due digestive content. The results shows not important difference in body compounds and carcass characteristics between Creole and hybrid Cashmere.
