PASTOS DE ZONAS ÁRIDAS Y SEMIÁRIDAS DEL SURESTE IBÉRICO (ARID AND SEMIARID RANGELANDS IN THE SOUTH-EASTERN SPAIN)

Resumen
El presente trabajo es una síntesis de los estudios que venimos realizando desde 1986, en agrosistemas silvopastorales del sudeste español. Se presentan algunos de los datos obtenidos en la evaluación de los pastos de estas zonas áridas y semiáridas sobre: diversidad florística (bits), fitovolumen (m3/ha), producción de forraje (kg MS/ha/año), energía (MJ EM /ha/año) y capacidad sustentadora (UG/ha/año).
Abstract
The aim of the present work was to discuss some results about arid and semiarid rangelands in South-eastern Spain. We show data of plant diversity (bits), phytovolume (m3/ha), forage yield (kg DM/ha/year), energy (MJ ME/ha/year), carrying capacity (AU/ha/year) in the main rangelands in this areas. These results were obtained from 1986 to 2001.
