LAS MUJERES DE ZACAPU Y SUS NECESIDADES: EXPERIENCIAS A TRAVÉS DE TALLERES DE DIAGNÓSTICO PARTICIPATIVO CON ENFOQUE DE GÉNERO (THE WOMEN OF ZACAPU AND THEIR NEEDS: EXPERIENCES TROUGH PARTICIPATORY APPRAISAL WORKSHOPS WITH GENDER PERSPECTIVE)

Resumen
Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar los resultados de las mesas de trabajo realizadas con mujeres del municipio de Zacapu, Michoacán, en 2009. La intención era escucharlas y entender su problemática para que del Instituto de la Mujer de Zacapu salieran propuestas de acciones dirigidas a solucionar de algún modo las necesidades de ellas. Un problema constante es el poco interés de los distintos niveles de gobierno por atender a las mujeres y proponer verdaderas soluciones para sus problemas. Solamente en tiempos de votaciones pueden contar con alguna posibilidad de ser escuchadas. Una de las reflexiones a las que se llegaron con este diálogo es que las mujeres de Zacapu sufren una gran desigualdad y violencia, no sólo al interior de sus familias, sino una violencia estructural que les vulnera sus derechos y que las acciones y políticas públicas no han logrado disminuir.
Abstract
This article aims to present the results of the workshops held with women in the municipality of Zacapu, Michoacan, in 2009. The intention was to listen and understand their needs to help the Institute for Women's of Zacapu to leave proposals aimed to solve in any way women's needs. A constant problem is the lack of interest at various levels of government for the care of women and propose real solutions to their problems. Only in times of elections can have a chance to be heard. One of the reflections obtained with this dialogue is that women of Zacapu suffer great inequality and violence, not only within their families, but a structural violence that violates their rights and that the actions and policies do not have reduced.
