Summary
For the characterization of the nursing curve 2119 was used monthly registrations of milk, corresponding to 500 nursing of 150 buffalo female (Bubalus bubalis) of five units of the county of Granma in the period
1997-2005. The best expression was determined for the curve of standard nursing under the conditions of this study. For the estimate of the curve of standard nursing was the productions mean used, corresponding to 17
stages of 15 days each one. Three mathematical models were applied for the adjustment to this curve: function incomplete gamma, logarithmic quadratic and multiple, regression. For every period they were obtained
the stocking, standard deviation, standard error (EE) and variation coefficient (CV). The adjustment kindness and discrimination among the used models demonstrated a high adjustment in the three models, with R2
above 90%, as well as for the values ( R 2). The logarithmic quadratic expression had, nevertheless, the highest values in adjustment (yt = - 0,28-0,04t+0,0001t2 +1,59 ln t, where t = days). It is considered that
this expression describes the production milkmaid better of the you snort them under these conditions, for what could be used to estimate the production of daily, accumulated and total milk and in later studies on productive and genetic indicators.
