Resumen
La gestión del cambio siempre ha sido un tema de vital importancia en el sector empresarial, y es más, cuando este cambio se refiere al ámbito tecnológico, el efecto es aún más dramático. En este artículo veremos cómo el cambio tecnológico que ha supuesto la irrupción del fenómeno Internet ha afectado la forma de hacer marketing de las empresas, pasando del marketing tradicional a lo que se denomina e-Marketing. Posteriormente se elabora un modelo microeconométrico de variable censurada con sesgo de selección muestral que analiza la influencia que ejercen, sobre el porcentaje de gasto en innovación dedicado a marketing, diferentes variables de características de la empresa. La conclusión final es que el gasto en marketing es mayor para las empresas que se han catalogado como innovadoras en tecnología en relación a las que no lo son. Además, también aumenta a medida que se incrementan otras variables como el empleo de la empresa, el volumen de ventas, el hecho de pertenecer a un tramo mayor del volumen de gasto en innovación, o el porcentaje de la cifra de negocios correspondiente a productos introducidos o sensiblemente mejorados.
Abstract
Change management has always been a topic of vital importance in the managerial sector, and it is more, when this change refers to the technological ambience, the effect is even more dramatic. In this article we will see how the technological change that has supposed the irruption of the Internet phenomenon has affected the way of doing marketing of companies, going on from the traditional marketing to what is named e-marketing.
Later we show a censored micro-econometric model with sample selection bias that analyses the influence that different variables exercise on the percentage of expense in innovation dedicated to marketing. The final conclusion is that the expense in marketing is higher for the companies that have been catalogued as innovators in technology in relation to those that are not. Also, it increases other variables increase as the employment of the company, the volume of sales, the volume of expense in innovation, or the percentage of the turnover corresponding to introduced or sensitively improved products.
