Efecto de diferentes dosis de AIB sobre el enraizamiento de Benjamina Picus L. en diferentes épocas del año (Effect of different doses from AIB on the rooting of Ficus Benjamina L. at different times of the year)

Resumen
Se estableció un experimento en invernadero durante tres épocas del año para determinar el efecto de la época de aplicación de AIB sobre el enraizamiento, características de las raíces formadas, así como del crecimiento posterior de las plantas enraizadas de Ficus benjamina L. Altos porcentajes de enraizamiento se obtuvieron en las tres épocas para todos los tratamientos, incluso el testigo. Sin embargo, valores ligeramente mayores para todas las variables se obtuvieron durante la época de primavera. El tratamiento con 1,500 ppm de AIB produjo el máximo porcentaje de enraizamiento y el mayor volumen de raíces formadas. La dosis de 10,000 ppm de AIB, al igual que el testigo fue ligeramente inhibitoria para las variables estudiadas. Abstract
A three seasons experiment was established in greenhouse to determine the effect of the season of AIB application on rooting, formed roots characteristics, and the growth of the rooted plants of Ficus benjamina L. High rooting percentages were obtained during the three seasons for all the treatments, even the control. However, lightly greater values were obtained during spring. The highest rooting percentage was obtained by applying 1,500 ppm of AIB. The control and 10,000 ppm of AIB lightly inhibited the studied variables. Height and number of leaves were highest with 1,500 and 3,000 ppm of AIB at the end of 50 days. There were no differences in total soluble carbohydrates during the three seasons of the year.
