Description
The current paper is presented as a result of the previous analysis of data collected for the research in psychology entitled “Development of a psycho-pedagogical intervention model with boys and girls aged 5-7
years.” The analysis, carried out up to this moment, lets to make a description of the characteristics of the group assessed, for a subsequent process of intervention and comparison, but having into account that this
group corresponds to a child population with low indexes of environmental stimulation, it was necessar y to make an analysis of its characteristics in terms of cognitive, connative and emotional performance. The proposal turns out to be pertinent, inasmuch as it can guide the professionals interested in child work and particularly in children with some kind of condition of psychosocial risk, about what are the real needs of the population to which their interventions are directed, regarding the three areas previously mentioned – cognitive,
connative and emotional.
