The oil-cleansing method has gained a lot of popularity lately, and for good reason.

Oil is an amazing alternative to soap,which can be harsh and stripping. The CRUDE oil-cleansing system is great for all skin types, from dry and sensitive to oily and acne-prone. Here are the three basic CRUDE steps, broken down to help you oil-cleanse like a pro and discover the radiant skin you deserve.

STEP 1: CLEANSE

Oil deeply cleanses the skin, dissolving makeup and debris with out compromising the skin's natural moisture barrier. While soaps are stripping and irritating, oil is a gentle yet powerful cleanser.

But not all oils are created equal! Many well-meaning beauty blogs recommend heavy oils like olive oil or coconut oil to wash the face, but these oils are highly comedogenic, or pore clogging. Olive oil is especially concerning, withrecent studiesshowing a reduction in the integrity of the stratum corneum with consistent use on the skin.

But don't fret, we did all the hard work for you. After extensive research and experimentation, we createdEVERYTHING OIL, the perfect blend of organic, non-comedogenic plant and essential oils to suit all of your cleansing and moisturizing needs.

We recommend massaging a quarter-sized amount of oil in to damp or dry skin for at least one minute to allow it to penetrate and draw impurities from deep within the skin.

STEP 2: REMOVE

OurPULL clothis an oil-cleanser's best friend. Softer and more absorbent than normal cloth, microfiber pulls make-up and debris away from the skin, reducing the chance of infection and helping you deep clean your skin without scrubbing or irritation.

After applying EVERYTHING OIL, wet PULL cloth with warm (not hot) water and hold over your face for three deep breaths to open the pores. Then slowly and gently remove the oil using small circular motions around the face.

This step is important—water alone will not remove the oil and bacteria from your skin, and normal cloth is too abrasive for daily use. We recommend using PULL Microfiber Cloth for a softer, deeper leanse.
