CABRAS SINCRONIZADAS CON CIDR EN LA LATITUD DE 20°28?S(GOATS SYNCHRONIZED WHIT CIDR BELOW LATITUDE 20°28'S)

Resumen
La inducción y sincronización del estro por el método hormonal CIDR (Controlled Internal Drug Release), durante el período de anestro estacional, fue evaluada a través de la fertilidad y prolificidad. Cabras mestizas fueron sometidas al tratamiento hormonal por 14 días, aplicando 350 UI de eCG en el momento de la retirada. El inicio de los celos surgió después de 12 h. de la retirada del dispositivo. Todos los animales manifestaron el estro, con duración de 48 h. y fueron cubiertos por los machos. La fertilidad (67,7 p.100) y la prolificidad (2,3) del grupo hormonal fue superior al grupo control. Es posible inducir cabras con CIDR y existe estacionalidad en la latitud 20º28'S.
Abstract
The estrous induction and synchronization, during anestrous period, was evaluated throw fertility and prolificness for CIDR. Cross goats were submitted for CIDR treatment during 14 days
eCG treatment (350 UI) was done at withdraw dispositive. The beginning estrous appears 12 hs after withdraw dispositive. All the animals show estrous and were matting for bucks at the farm. The fertility (67.7 percent) and prolificness (2.3) were higher than the control group. It is possible to induce goats by CIDR and there is anestrous below latitude 20°28'S.
