Theaddress of your EndNote Web site, such as: http://www.myendnoteweb.com 5. Youremail address, which is your user identification 6. YourEndNote Web password 7. Ifyou would like your email address and password remembered for future sessions, select the “Remember my address and password” check box. Then, clickNextto establish a connection and continue. 4. Onthe Transfer References dialog: 1. Selectthe appropriate EndNote desktop library. The currently active library is displayed in the list. Use the dropdown list to select from additional open libraries. Note: If a library is designated readonly, a symbol of a lock will appear after the filename. In order to transfer references into a library, the library must have readwrite access. 2. Selectthe appropriate EndNote Web folder. 3. Determinewhether you are transferring references to or from your EndNote library. Select one of these options: 1.Transfer References from Web to Desktop You can allow duplicates or discard duplicates during the transfer. EndNote will use the duplicate settings indicated in your EndNote preferences. 2.Transfer References from Desktop to Web You can transfer only the showing references or all references found in the library.
Note: If the option toTransfer References from Web to Desktopis not available to you (grayed out), you likely have selected an EndNote library that is readonly. Make sure the file itself allows readwrite access, and make sure it is not on a readonly CD or a locked partition.
