On September 23 Lead Investigator Eberhart Zrenner, M.D., professor of Ophthalmology and founding director of the Institute for Ophthalmic Research at the Centre for Ophthalmology of the University of Tubingen, presented to the advisory board results from Retina Implant's multi-center, human clinical trial with wireless subretinal implant Alpha IMS which is currently underway in Germany, the UK and China and has involved 18 patients to date.
