KEMET CEO Per Loof Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2012 In The Carolinas PR Newswire GREENVILLE, South Carolina, June 29, 2012 Award recognizes entrepreneurial technology and communications excellence GREENVILLE, South Carolina, June 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- KEMET Corporation (NYSE: KEM), a leading manufacturer of tantalum, ceramic, aluminum, film, paper and electrolytic capacitors, today announced that Chief Executive Officer Per Loof received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2012 Carolinas Award in the Technology and Communications category. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Mr. Loof was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala on June 21, 2012 at the Westin Charlotte. Loof's wife of 37 years and twin sons were also in attendance to share in this special occasion.
