The car - the B12/69EV - is the brainchild of green technology pioneer and former Minister of Science and Innovation Lord Drayson. It showcases advances such as inductive charging, composite battery power, moveable aerodynamics and electrical regenerative damping, making it one of the most innovative cleantech motorsport projects in the world. It also boasts more than 850 horsepower and a top speed of around 200mph. Based near Heathrow, iVolt is also at the forefront of green technology.
