Free Adaptive Tablet Courses in Engineering and Management – Tata McGraw Hill, Vriti, Micromax PR Newswire NOIDA, India, August 22, 2012 NOIDA, India, August 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Tata McGraw-Hill Education, a leading global publisher and Vriti, a Smart Education Platform company announced a partnership to launch free, online 'Smart Courses' for Engineering and Management students on tablet devices, which will be made available globally. These pre-bundled courses will be available on the Micromax Funbook, India's most popular e-learning tablet. Smart Courses combine world-leading education content from Tata McGraw-Hill on the platform developed by Vriti. These would contain e-books, assignments, videos, multimedia, detailed assessments & personalized tips wrapped in an intelligent lesson plan. The course will also create student edu-social communities per course on the cloud globally. The pre-bundled short summarized courses will be upgradable to the full 'Smart Course' offering through e-payments on the tablet. The partnership plans to introduce over 100 free courses in the higher education segments of Engineering and Management. The platform will adapt the content while adhering to the syllabus of several technical universities in India and abroad making it relevant for a broad group of students. The first set of courses are planned for release in early September.
