Elsevier Starts Collaboration with Newly Established Far Eastern Consortium in Russia PR Newswire VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, December 10, 2012 VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, December 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Five-year collaboration agreement includes access to ScienceDirect and Scopus for Consortium Members Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical, and medical information products and services, today announced its collaboration with the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), the leading University of Russia's Far Eastern Consortium, through a five-year collaboration agreement including access to ScienceDirect and Scopus for all Consortium members from January 2013 onwards. Russia's Far Eastern Federal district has grown to become a key social and political focus for the Russian Government. Since the APEC Summit held in September of this year, a Ministry for Far Eastern Affairs has been founded and the region is designated to become Russia's growing economic, commercial and research hub in Asia Pacific.
