The Algerian Senior Researcher Award in Chemistry was awarded to Prof. Zahia Kabouche from the Université Mentouri Constantine. Prof. Kabouche has published extensively in the field of natural products chemistry. Her career began in 1987 at the University of Constantine. She is currently professor of Organic Chemistry and director of the Therapeutic Substances Laboratory at the Université Mentouri Constantine.
