The agreement extends cooperation between the two companies, combining DeSolite® Supercoatings with Prysmian Group's BendBright-XS fiber technology to create high-performance fiber and cable solutions for enhanced deployment and network performance. Prysmian Group's BendBright-XS technology, in its regular 250-micron size as well as its miniaturized 200-micron form, is produced using DeSolite® Supercoatings. Engineered for best-in-class signal attenuation performance via low microbend sensitivity, DeSolite® Supercoatings optimize optical fiber's deployment in today's demanding indoor and outdoor access environments, enabling increased stress tolerance as well as providing the highest levels of processing and field robustness.
