We have carefully considered your comments on the draft report and have included them in their entirety in appendix II. The report includes nine recommendations intended to improve the implementation of USAID/West Africa’s Procurement and Distribution of Commodities in Côte d’Ivoire for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. In your response to the draft audit report, you indicated corrective action plans addressing two of the nine recommendations, and you have taken sufficient action to close seven of the nine. Therefore, we consider that management decisions have been reached on the two recommendations with corrective action plans and we consider the other seven recommendations closed upon issuance of this report.
